To your manufactured quotes I'll say this: The thread concerns the moderation of /int/. So please try to bear with my presence while I leave some parting words on the hopes of the board some day becoming a better version of itself. Hopefully to better retain newcomers or returning posters.
>why would top be different from xyz in terms of posters?Nothing to do with my previous post. The point was that moderation was supposed to be better on top, but almost nothing happened. Sure, I occasionally see a ban message on a schizo post, but the post is still there and he's back the next day. What exactly did the ban accomplish? The inane bickering continued from xyz to top.
>If you have any serious suggestions as how to improve this board, go ahead.Your post is a prime exhibit why I don't post here anymore. It seems like you didn't even read my incredibly short post before replying and dragged in a bunch of unrelated bullshit to bicker about. This, in
my opinion should not be allowed.
A moderation stance that allows endless bickering and placates schizo ramblings is antithetical to facilitating serious discussions.
>inb4 ban all germansBan all Germans.
>>20234Sorry but I've been out of the loop for a while so I can't provide a comprehensive list. With a cursory look ITT and the first page of /int/ I can point out to these:

To make it clear, the rampant shit/schizo posting that was allowed to go on in Ukraine threads finally caused me to go look out for alternatives.
The main problem seemed to be that at some point moderation just gave up Ukraine threads. This in my view is a big mistake. If you're going to tolerate violations of sacred serious discussions on some topic but not another, you are making a value judgement on the topic. And if you do this without clear communication (e.g. banning the entire topic) you're going to burn some people who are interested in deeply engaging with it. Additionally, that bad experience also puts you off from creating any new serious topics. Why go through the trouble? For what?
Of course the issues aren't limited to Ukraine thread. Bickering and low quality shit flinging repeatedly occurred in today threads for example. Even as the thread is not very serious in nature and topics come and go, why is it okay to be a complete asshole? Maybe I'm wrong and the people engaging in bickering greatly value it. They're mostly Germans, after all. Can't pretend to understand.
>>20235You're mostly correct. I don't want every post to be nice but generally made in good faith. It's also very unfortunate to see your (or Omsk's?) bait posts that are at times very difficult to differentiate from what you actually believe. Been a while so I might be misremembering this and can't point to any specific post.
In general what puts me off from posting anymore is that I don't want to spend time writing a post with any effort, when the reply will either be completely retarded bickering, a schizo post, or the post I was replying was a bait to begin with. As a result I noticed how my posts became shorter and shorter, and mostly consisted of
complaining pointing out G*rman crimes against humanity.
Continuing to post here wasn't enjoyable which meant finding a place that suits me better and simply writing stuff for myself. Engaging on discussions should result as something greater than the initial post. I don't feel like it's the case here anymore.
