>>25448Did Karl even have a kids? I read he was a total Chad but lived alone. People are baffled when they hear Poschhardt was an MGler but when you also know that the MG was the biggest post 1968 radical leftist organization in Germany in the 1980s and 1990s it is not surprising anymore.

>>25465>Did Karl even have a kids?No idea.
>the MG was the biggest post 1968 radical leftist organization in Germany in the 1980s and 1990sAfaik DKP was actually bigger until the 90ies with roughly 40.000 members and then going into rapid decline. MG got huge in members in the late 80ies/early 90ies reaching 10.000 (or maybe rather called affiliates?) but in 1991 and after dissolving and turning into GS they would sell less copies (~7000) whereas at some point in the early 70ies some issues would sell up to 37.000 copies. In 1990 MSZ could still sell 18.000 apparently. No idea what the current issues make in numbers but since GS has participated in podcasting and Ole has recently been rather prominent etc. it is probably up a little compared to 10 years ago.

>>25466There is this dissertation about the MG that says early 1980s was the peak with around 20.000 people. The DKP would be a party, though.
I don't think there recent presence in some leftist formats really is increasing the numbers. They reprinted some of the old books and some close people like Renate published new books. I don't think Ole really is MG though. But I hardly follows this.

Things will change and the more they change, the more it will stay the same.
Because that's what people are best at.
And restaurants mostly serving microwaved food is already a thing, at least here in touristy regions where customers are only expected to be served once.
Just like there's a scammy Italian restaurant around each larger tourist trap, financing a Porsche while riding a 2 star review for their crappy shop.
But most important of all...

No.25484
>>25483>I DIDN'T IMPLY ANYTHINGI did imply something I just didn't imply that one sold copy of MSZ/GS = one member, obviously you can tell that if the number of sold copies decreases by 3000 there is probably less resonance with the audience in pre WWW times.

The low-level water-carriers in such organizations always buy more of the pamphlets than they need, to disseminate them. It's an expectation in all political / religious / intellectual sects.
> everyone who read three words is a recipientLet's go even further: everyone who saw the cover is a recipient! We should multiply the number of copies by ten to get the number of recipients!

I carry the water without notice by telling people where they can buy the prints, kek. That's another difference to stupid organizations. They don't want anything from you besides einleuchten. What you’re referring to is what’s called “theory.” And when I said I’m not interested in theory, what I meant is, I’m not interested in posturing–using fancy terms like polysyllables and pretending you have a theory when you have no theory whatsoever. So there’s no theory in any of this stuff, not in the sense of theory that anyone is familiar with in the sciences or any other serious field. Try to find in all of the work you mentioned some principles from which you can deduce conclusions, empirically testable propositions where it all goes beyond the level of something you can explain in five minutes to a twelve-year-old. See if you can find that when the fancy words are decoded. I can’t. So I’m not interested in that kind of posturing. Žižek is an extreme example of it. I don’t see anything to what he’s saying. Jacques Lacan I actually knew. I kind of liked him. We had meetings every once in awhile. But quite frankly I thought he was a total charlatan. He was just posturing for the television cameras in the way many Paris intellectuals do. Why this is influential, I haven’t the slightest idea. I don’t see anything there that should be influential.

Discovered today that my voicemail box was not set up. Likely hasn't been active since I switched phones. How many months ago? Nine? Everyone I know just sends a text about whatever. Only found out now because my glasses were taking too long at the optometrist. Called them. Ready last week. He couldn't leave a message to inform me, and I ignore all unfamiliar phone numbers.
No.25501
>>25500>my voicemail box was not set upGood, same here. I'm not saying sending voicemails is the same as rape, but it is!!! It forces me to turn off my music or my video I am watching. So it stays off, and if someone wants to send me a voicemail so bad, he can use some voice to text program and send me a message, which I read when I feel like it, and which I can quickly proofread in case I want to double check something, without awkwardly and blindly jumping through an overly verbose voice message.
Please refer to pic related about the correct way to deal with voicemail senders.
No.25503
>>25500Only boomers use voice boxes. Illiterate bydlo send voice messages on messengers, because they are too retarded to write. You see them talking into the phone-end of their telephones in public. They also do this when they have actual calls, then they set their phone to speaker, so everyone can listen in to their conversations. The lower classes have no sense of privacy whatsoever.

Even pinko bickering couldn't revitalize /int/. Seems like it's not as much of a board engine as some "people" like to claim.
Amazing how a thread on autosage can stay in the top spot because nobody fucking posts.

>>25527Imageboards live off the energy of their posters, and the only high energy poster is gone. Ironically, the smug german hating leftists left soon afterwards when they noticed that an imageboard full of smug german hating leftists probably sucks. The people that are left aren't enough to maintain a background noise that would give visitors the impression that this is a living board, so no one will stay. Funnily enough, every time I mentioned in the past that some base activity is a quality aspect in itself, someone went NOOOOOOO... but now it's clearly visible that it is. And no, it has nothing to do with this and that not being banned, like the soyjak thread (or the assman and commiecat poster earlier). If the board was healthy, that thread would already be on page 5 and no one would even care. Also people having GF and no time isn't the reason, that's just a convenient excuse. If the board was interesting, people would make time to post, and there would be new posters to compensate for losses. But there is not even a need to make excuses. No one wants to be on a board where they feel alone and nothing happens. Being boring is the cardinal sin of an imageboard, way worse than being cancerous.
>>25518>Over the next few days I will start a quantity offensiveAttempts like this are admirable, but I fear they are futile. Still, good luck.
