>He can sell it to A or another flute player.
I assume the example takes place in a non-monetary economy. There seems to be no way for A to compensate B for the materials and labor and buy the flute. If B has no way of selling the flute to A, why would C be able to sell the flute to A?

 No.23901

>>23900
I like how C doesn't even NEED the flute, he just wants it and claims it would make his life better.
Why and how?
I think he's just a little shithead of the kind that just wants something because another kid has it.

 No.23902

>>23901
True. I think the real solution to this problem is for Kid A and B to use the flute to beat kid C up. They'd have to watch when kid C starts bleeding though, all the AIDS and poverty might be contagious.

 No.23903

If A and B beat C to a pulp using a flute, an instrument that is traditionally used with the mouth, while being afraid of HIV maybe they deserve it.

What a petty way of trying to justify property "rights". Instead of a common ownership of the flute being proposed, we are asked to either reward the capable with property, reward the owners of the means of production or engage in bourgeois charity and given the flute to some poverty-stricken individual.
I would create a framework for the common ownership in the context of a larger circular economy. For having liberated these children from the zero-sum predatorial nature of capitalist, I would become the first undersecretary of musical instruments. I'd assign the flute in regards to the shared need of musical expression. Any concerns with the distribution of the flute could be directly addressed by the child's mother by visiting the Office of Musical Instruments and playing my meat flute XDDDDDDD

Kid C is a left-wing dissenter claiming the people's flute for himself on grounds of his perceived class-struggle. Since you joined him in his efforts, you and kid C formed a conspiracy and should be adequately punished.

The three could team up to film a suggestive video using the flute as a prop (ugliest kid can hold the camera) and monetize it on the South Korean adult entertainment market. Using the revenue from that, the three could buy more flutes for each of them than they could handle, but what would be the point in doing so? They could buy a violin and bang the flute against it to play flute and violin. Or team up to punish me for having stolen the flute from its maker. Report me to the police. Why do they want the flute so badly, why have I got it, what is my job description, can I refer this case to my superior? Can I keep the flute and play it? What would Jesus do? I am not good with children

Child A feels too entitled. No flute for her and I take one of her other toys away as a lesson. Child B made sonething they have no use for once the creative process had finished. Truly an artist. She keeps the flute. Child C needs to learn the value of hard work. I ask chlid B to teach him how to make his own flute.

Tech is a predominantly white predominantly male field, and many of the white men are also libertarians or capitalists. It's particularly bad in software development. I think only emotionally stunted immature people with power fantasies are even interested in software development, and only massive shitlords are able to use the programming language, which was invented by racist sexist men in the 1950s. This is why all software reproduces racism and sexism, and it is why it can be only be useful in capitalism. It also pushes the frail fee-fees of emotionally immature white men on wymyn and pocs, who are forced to do the emotional labor for white men who wrote the software. Many of these shitlords are so disturbed, it isn't enough for them to force their personal trauma on others by using software as a vehicle, they are violent psychopaths, who sooner or later seek other forms of harming wymyn and minorities.

Famous programmer Hans Reiser committed femicide. The software program he created is called ReiserFS. It doesn't occur to the other shitlords to change the name. They don't care how triggering it is for wymyn to use the software program of this murderer that even carries his name.

Sexist shitlord Ian Murdock appropriated the first syllable of his then partner's name for his software program Debian. He literally stole their name! Do you think he and the other shitlords ever changed the name after the relationship ended? They still call it Debian! Also, he is an insane racist who attacked his non-white neighbours and called them slurs, and he even was arrested. Do you think that would be a reason for the other white shitlords to change the name of the software program, so it isn't any longer names after a sexist and racist? Certainly not! That's because they are shitlords!

Insane maniac John MVaffee created a software program named after himself, then ran an murdered someone in Latin America and ran a drug lab. You can still buy the software program names after John McAfee.

The shitlords all name the software programs they produce after themselves, they see it as an extension of their selves. This is why software is dripping with racism and sexism and can hardly be used by women and pocs! It's a natural result of software being created by bigoted white men!

Still just moving shit from the old place. Found a few interesting books dealing with local history. Even a volume dealing with the future plans of the town’s administration.
And also a fucking Jamiroquai CD for some fucking reason so I’ve been blasting that shit for a few days now. Good fucking stuff.
Most of the books my parents owned are trash. We are not gonna throw them out of course. But there were very few classics or anything, not even good pulp fiction. Just random shit.

Had a terrible night. I couldn’t sleep at all.

Been playing a lot more video games with friends. I’m like two more Company of Heroes 2 matches away from having to be put on tranquilizers or some shit.
“Why you heff to be med, is only game!”
Yes but it’s a unique kind of absolute hatred I feel while playing it. I don’t think I have ever despised a game more than this fucking piece of shit game.

I just have this feeling that I wanna throw up. Bit shaky.

Every week I visit ADP, my company payroll service, and open my statement on mobile Chrome. Every week it automatically downloads. Easy. This morning it didn't. More than that, it couldn't. No option to save locally. Thirty minutes of reading web solutions only to learn every human on earth has a different menu when pressing the three dots in Chrome's upper right corner. I lose too much time dealing with tedious frustrations.
Problem eventually solved by opening the pdf in Samsung Notes and using that to save. Why did Chrome change? No idea.

Rebeling against the idea that Albania is a controversial destination to for vacation with gf dream thread I suggested going to Albania for a very short vacation. Even with flights and car rental, it's probably still cheaper than booking a few nights in tiny house and getting there by rental. (A normal hotel in Albania and a rented car + eating out)/day is still less than the rent of the tiny house alone.

Went to university. after a long-long weekend. It felt a bit odd. Had a near death experience I think when I accidentally got myself into the mess of explaining what an “Anglo-Saxon” is in Chinese.

Wrote an email to a different university because I want to read a former emeritus’ PhD thesis from the 70s and they are my best bet for contact. (Or I will just have to hunt down someone with access to that database.)
Also downloaded a bunch of studies.

Ran the distance from the university to the metro station in the rain and it felt good.
Tomorrow, I’m going to study for real. Today was disappointing in this regard, but better than expected.

Indeed, it was a copy of Travelling Without Moving.
I also found the Twin Peaks OST and a bunch of classical music CDs. Also one electronic album I don’t know anything about but I’m eager to listen to when I get the chance. I feel like it’s something special that it’s not just clicking on a youtube video of an unknown album.
But then again I am just fetishizing the format essentially.

Such a fucking shame that I wasn’t able to find the Discman though. That’d have been peak.

Had an okay-ish day yesterday. Got some work done and I also finally managed to go running. I think it really did change something because I'm insanely talkative and my thoughts are racing.
Did fuck up my knee though. It was all fine right until the final 5 minutes I cranked up the speed to maximum and it all went to hell the next morning.
I mean I guess it only really hurts when I go down stairs. Got some tape on it and I will skip running on Friday and try not straining it while in the city.
